What are porcelain veneers?
Ultra-thin porcelain shells, 0.3–0.5 mm, bonded to the front of your teeth. Dr. Albert designs your new smile digitally and you try it on as a trial smile first. A master ceramist then makes each veneer by hand, usually 2–3 weeks from start to finish.

Your free consultation starts with a digital design of your new smile. Then, before any porcelain is made, Dr. Albert sculpts the design onto your teeth as a trial smile you wear home for 3–7 days. Photograph it, eat with it and refine anything you like. Only the smile you’ve approved goes to the ceramist.

Fractions of a millimetre of enamel, only where needed. Then your trial smile is sculpted onto your teeth, so you can wear it home for a few days and refine it together.

Common questions
With proper care, porcelain veneers typically last 10–15 years, often longer. The ceramic itself is highly stain-resistant and won’t discolour like natural enamel.
Not when designed properly. Dr. Albert works with master ceramists who layer multiple shades and add subtle natural texture, so each veneer mimics the translucency and imperfection of real enamel. The goal is a smile that doesn’t announce itself as work.
Modern porcelain veneers need very little or no tooth preparation if your teeth are healthy and straight: typically a fraction of a millimetre, often less. We always preserve as much natural enamel as possible, and discuss the exact plan with you before any preparation begins.
After your initial consultation and smile design, typically 3 appointments over 2–3 weeks: minimal preparation with your trial smile, a short review of the trial to refine and approve the design, then the final fit of your porcelain veneers.
Preparation is done under local anaesthetic, so you won’t feel discomfort during the procedure. Most patients report only minor sensitivity for a day or two afterwards.
Absolutely. We work with you to select the perfect shade, from a subtle, natural brightening to a more dramatic Hollywood look. Your face shape, skin tone, and personal style all factor in.
Porcelain veneers are from £950 per tooth. A single front porcelain veneer, crown or bridge is from £1,350, because single-unit work on a front tooth needs extra precision to match the neighbouring teeth, down to their colour and translucency. Every treatment is planned individually, and the number of teeth needed will be discussed at your consultation. 0% finance is available.
