Invisalign isn’t one flat fee — a handful of things move your quote up or down. Here’s what actually shapes the cost.
One arch or two
Straightening a single arch costs less than treating both. Most people who want an even smile treat both — and for most patients, dual-arch treatment is needed to get a good bite and proper function at the end.
How much movement
Minor crowding or a relapse needs fewer aligners than a complex bite correction — the more movement, the higher the fee.
Refinements
Extra “refinement” aligners to perfect the finish are planned into a good-quality case rather than charged as surprises.
The finish
Cosmetic-led treatment is planned for the best-looking result, and often paired with whitening and a little bonding to complete the smile.
Dentist skill & involvement
Invisalign’s cost is really two things: the appliance and the treatments included with it (aligners, retainers, whitening, sculpting), and the dentist’s planning, oversight and care. At the cheapest end, some clinics leave out essentials like post-treatment retainers — which then arrive as unexpected add-on fees — or offer far less face-to-face planning and aftercare.
